Meet Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole, a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience and the co-founder of It Takes a Village. As a long-time advocate for baby safety, I focus on equipping parents, caregivers, and birth workers with the confidence and skills they need during one of life’s most vulnerable and beautiful moments.
I specialize in teaching infant and child CPR, offering classes that are hands-on, heart-centered, and designed with real-life situations in mind. Whether I’m teaching in a wellness center or inside someone’s living room, my mission is the same: to prepare families to act quickly and effectively in an emergency.

I truly love what I do. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping a new parent feel just a little more secure, or watching a grandparent learn CPR for the first time. At It Takes a Village, we believe that safety is a community effort—and I’m proud to be part of yours.Over the years, I’ve seen how knowledge and preparation can turn fear into action, and uncertainty into empowerment.
I believe that when families are informed and supported, they’re empowered to show up with confidence. My teaching style is grounded in empathy, cultural awareness, and real-world experience. Whether you're preparing to welcome a baby or helping someone else do the same, I’m here to offer practical skills, encouragement, and a steady hand. Because when we support one another, we all grow stronger—and safer—together.
