Prenatal Care

Receiving care with a midwife means that you will be treated you with the most respect and provide shared decision making during your journey. The midwives job is to provide you with care, but to also provide you with informed consent so that you can make the best choices for you and your family. They will always provide you with the benefits, risk, and alternatives to anything regarding your care. YOU have the right to accept or decline any treatments that you would like. Your prenatal and postpartum care follows the same schedule as an OBGYN with a few differences. While you are in care, your appointments will be 60 minutes long and you can be seen as early as you desire. There is no need to wait until 12-16 weeks before you receive care. Appointments are to check on the health of your baby, but they are also to check on you and your overall wellbeing and for you and your partner to ask as many questions as you would like..
