Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing a fresh placenta by rinsing, steaming or slicing it raw, dehydrating, grinding it into a fine powder, and placing the powder into consumable capsules for ingestion. All encapsulation procedures are performed by a Biologix-Certified Placenta Encapsulator who holds a ServSafe Food Handler Certification in a respectful and sanitary environment.
It Takes a Village Birth DFW strictly adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and follows proper food safety protocols throughout the encapsulation process.
The placenta capsules are prepared exclusively for the client’s personal consumption and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. Placenta encapsulation does not replace medical care, prevent postpartum depression, regulate milk supply, or serve as a substitute for professional healthcare. Clients should consult their healthcare provider for any medical concerns.
