Marquisha Stalling

I am a holistic full spectrum doula who serves women, birthing people and expecting families throughout conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I have been providing doula work over  the years supporting  my friends throughout their pregnancies. I have been "doula'ng"  before I knew what a doula was. I am truly passionate about the wellbeing of pregnant women/birthers. Bringing awareness, education and compassionate presence to birthing spaces has proven to give room more desirable outcomes in childbirth. 

 

I've been supporting the community through doula work for 5 years, totally becoming a seasoned birth worker in DFW.

 

I am also certified in womb centered herbalism, womb wellness practitioner and  am amazing midwifery apprentice. Proficient in placenta encapsulation services, education and the fun of turning an organ into magic for new mamas/parents.
 

I've experienced what most women of color have having children in the medical system. The overwhelming  bias and neglect almost  resulted in me dying after childbirth. The need for prenatal support and postpartum care is overwhelmingly needed for black families and I am dedicated to giving back to the black community. This is her contribution to healing the diaspora. As the black family is the foundation of the black community.

 

In my spare time, I volunteer with a few birth related non profits in the DFW area to serve those in need of support.
